Massachusetts robots that are changing the world
There are robots that will clean your floors, those that are powering underwater vehicles for research and defense purposes, and still others that are assisting health care professionals in complex medical procedures.
And, they’re all being made in the Bay State.
For the Boston Business Journal’s inaugural list of the Largest Robotics Companies in Massachusetts, the BBJ’s research department — with assistance from the Mass Technology Leadership Council — canvassed a large number of firms operating in this sector across a variety of applications, including industrial, defense, personal and health care.
Vecna is one of more than 100 companies and 10 universities (with 13 university robotics research laboratories) representing all segments of the robotics sector.
