3 Steps to kiosk implementation

1. Create Workflow

Vecna's kiosks adapt to hospital's existing workflow to produce a highly intuitive, user-friendly solution that enables patient to perform a variety of tasks on their own, eliminating long lines at the front desk and free up administrative staff to focus on higher-value tasks.

Hospital has the option to select pre-optimized workflows or build customized workflows. Examples of pre-optimized workflows include check-in & registration, billing & copay collection, way-finding, forms management.

2. Connect IT Systems

In order to fully utilize kiosk's capabilities, the kiosks must be able to communicate to existing systems such as the EMR, Billing system, and Scheduling system. Vecna's kiosk application integrates to the hospital's current work processes and to related systems. Vecna creates the data interfaces to the source and destination systems using Vecna's proprietary IDEA™ integration engine. Whether you are considering a single or multi-site facility Vecna's kiosk architecture easily scales to fit your needs.

3. Deploy Hardware

Once workflow design and integration are complete, Vecna engineers will be on-site to install kiosks. Hospital can choose from a variety of hardware form factors including free-standing kiosk, table top kiosk, wall-mount kiosks, and tablets. The kiosk application can run on any web browser enabled device like the iPad and smartphones.
